A 3-ton condenser on a duct system built for 2.5 tons doesn't cool better. It runs longer, wears out sooner, and leaves the back bedroom exactly as warm as it was before. That's the single most common failure we get called out to fix after somebody else's install, and it's the job we won't repeat.
